Hi, I’m Sarah Wilson.
A headshot photographer working with businesses, professionals, and teams across Raleigh, Cary, and the Triangle.
My approach is personal, from the planning that happens before your session to the way I work with each person in front of my camera.
Before the session, I’ll consult with you to understand your brand and your goals so the final images reflect not just your team members, but your company’s personality and professionalism.
Most people aren’t completely comfortable in front of a camera, and I don’t expect them to know what to do. I’ll give each person clear posing directions, attention to the little details, and make adjustments throughout the session so they never have to wonder how to stand, where to look, or what to do with their hands.
But posing is only part of it. I use humor and conversation to move people past the smile they think they’re supposed to give me. I’m watching for the moment their expression relaxes and their personality starts to come through.
When I photograph a team, I want every person to look like themselves while still creating headshots that feel consistent from one individual to the next. Whether I’m photographing five people or fifty, each person gets the same attention and direction in front of my camera.
After their headshot session, I help each person choose their favorite images on the spot. Every selected image is fully retouched, formatted, and delivered digitally, ready for LinkedIn, team bios, and press kits.
